Introduction

Welcome to "I'll Name This Blog Later"! I'm delighted that you've stopped by to learn more about the face behind the words and the journey that led to the creation of this blog.

I'm Des, the creator and writer of this space. As someone who tends to take things to the extreme, I had the idea of selling all of my belongings and traveling around the world until I'm tired. I've always had a burning desire to experience and embrace challenging adventures. My goal is to share my experiences of different places and the people I meet along the way during this thrilling adventure.

What you'll find here

The content in this blog will be somewhat random. I'll be discussing various aspects of living on the road, traveling abroad, and hopefully providing some useful tips if you ever want to do something similar. Whether you're interested in undertaking a long journey like mine, going for a couple of weeks, or simply following along and living vicariously through the blurbs, I aim to be both informative and entertaining.

Goal

The goal is simple: I want to demonstrate that traveling abroad and not having a permanent 'home,' but rather making the world your home, isn't as scary as it sounds. Anyone who genuinely desires it can make it happen. Through "I'll Name This Blog Later," I hope to inspire someone to pursue that one thing they've always wanted to do - whether it's learning an instrument or starting that side gig they've been dreaming of.

Thank you for being a part of this journey, and I'm looking forward to sharing the good, the bad, the ugly, and the outrageous with all of you.

Let's embark on this adventure together! Feel free to explore our latest articles, subscribe, ask any questions, and follow along on social media too!

Happy reading!

Thank You

I want to give a quick thank you to my parents. They came to the States from the Caribbean in '91 with an 18-month-old and a newborn. So, it's kind of in my blood to see an opportunity and take advantage of it. Doing something like this may seem scary, or I'm considered 'brave' for trying it, but the fact of the matter is that without them setting that example, I wouldn't even think about having the courage to attempt something like this. Obviously, I wouldn't be around without them, but I definitely wouldn't be trying something like this without knowing who they are. So, a big shoutout to them!!
